Job Opportunity: Skipper for ABC Snorkel Charters

Join the award-winning team at ABC Snorkel Charters, leading exceptional snorkeling adventures on the stunning Great Barrier Reef! We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Master to guide our vessels and help create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Position: Master/Engineer
Location: Port Douglas, QLD
Type: Full-time / Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Safely navigate our vessel during snorkeling tours to the Great Barrier Reef
• Ensure compliance with all maritime safety regulations
• Engage with guests, providing insightful commentary on the marine environment
• Work closely with the onboard team, including marine biologists and tour guides
• Perform basic maintenance and safety checks on the vessel

Requirements:

• Valid Master < 24m near coastal / MED III
• Advanced Frist Aid, O2 and CPR
• Proven experience as a skipper in a marine tourism setting
• Local Reefs Knowledge
• Strong knowledge of maritime safety procedures and regulations
• Passion for marine conservation and guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
